Michael Allen Bonner, age 21, of Cartersville, formerly of Winston, passed away Friday, June 10, 2011. He was born in Kennesaw, Georgia on July 17, 1989 to Rick Bonner and Beth Allen Prather. He worked at Papa John’s Pizza and was a Christian by faith.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Phyllis Irene Bonner.

He is survived by his mother, Beth Prather of Cartersville; father and step-mother, Rick and Lisa Bonner of Winston; maternal grandparents, Bud and Sally Allen, Joy and Johnny Hatfield; paternal grandfather, Lester Lee Bonner of Apollo, Pa.; sister, Mallory Lauren Bonner of Winston; step-sister, Aprell Louise Robinson of Indian Harbor Beach, Fl.; step-brother and spouse, Ryan and Jennifer Robinson of Smyrna; aunts and uncles, Tom and Lisa Allen, Dennis and Cynthia Bonner; nieces Emma Jean Baily Robinson and Lydia Powell; cousins, Kyle Allen of Savannah, Kim Messick of Jasper; several other cousins and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at 11:00 am from Hightower’s Memorial Chapel in Douglasville, with Brother Scott Bray and Brother Jay Goodman officiating.

The family will receive friends on Monday, June 13, 2011 from 5:00 until 9:00 pm.
