We found a black Labradoodle dog in the Bear Creek Subdivision (off Yeager Road on the W Chapel Hill side) early Monday morning. He looks to be about 5 or 6 months old. He has not been neutered, has not been microchipped, was wearing a reddish "choke" collar and is very friendly. Please email me at pegbur7@yahoo.com or call me at our restaurant, Burke's Grill (770-947-2860) for more information or to arrange to pick him up if he's your dog. Please feel free to repost. I would love to find his owners!

If you can post or forward a better photo, I will be happy to include him on our pages and other sites to try and find his owners.

I saw Peg take him to the shelter while I was there. He is a good size dog, roughly 60 lbs and solid black.

The guy at the shelter said he's at least a year old. I would love to keep him but we are always at work and it would not be fair to him to keep such a big dog cooped up in the house and we don't have a fenced in yard. They said if the owners don't claim him in three days he will be up for adoption. He's a sweet dog so somebody PLEASE claim him if he's yours.

Carl, we need a better photo of him. Can someone at the shelter get a better one and post it?

I will be there tomorrow and get better photos of him then. If he was turned in today, he won't be available for adoption before Sunday.
